Trick or Trot run this weekend benefits homeless shelter
The 2nd Annual Milford Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Beth-El Center will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Sign-in begins at 7:30 am and the race starts at 9:00am from Lisman Landing in Downtown Milford. The race route follows the back roads near Milford Harbor and Fort Trumbull Beach, ending at Lisman Landing.
Walkers and runners are encouraged to wear Halloween costume. Prizes will be awarded for best individual and team costumes and to the first, second and third place winners of the race by age group.
Post-race festivities will include breakfast provided by Indigo by the Water and music performed by rock and blues band The Elwoods.

The Beth-El Center is a recognized leader in caring for and meeting the needs of the hungry and homeless and strives to prevent and end homelessness. It serves individuals and families by providing temporary shelter and feeds up to sixty persons daily in the soup kitchen. Our clients include veterans, elderly and people working through unemployment, illness, catastrophic events, addictions and emotional problems. The Beth-El Center is located at 90 New Haven Avenue in Milford.
