The Boys & Girls Village 2014 Holiday Toy Drive will run through Wednesday, Dec. 17. In addition to toy donation drop boxes at BGV’s Milford and Bridgeport locations, Colonial Toyota of Milford and Trumbull Marriott have partnered with BGV to host donation boxes as well.
Those interested in donating to this year’s Holiday Toy Drive can deliver any new, unopened and unwrapped toy to one of the four drop-off locations:
Boys & Girls Village, 528 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford, CT
Boys & Girls Village, 170 Bennett Street, Bridgeport, CT
Colonial Toyota of Milford, 470 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT
Trumbull Marriott, 180 Hawley Lane, Trumbull, CT
All donations go directly to the children of Boys & Girls Village, which for 72 years has been a leader in providing comprehensive care to at-risk Connecticut children and adolescents through its array of behavioral health, educational and family programs.
Colonial Toyota of Milford and Trumbull Marriott will both feature a wooden donation box, hand painted by some of the children at Boys & Girls Village.
“While the holidays are a time of joy and celebration for most, for many others it is a time of despair. There are so many Connecticut families that just can’t bring the holidays home,” said Coreen DeMayo, Development Coordinator at Boys & Girls Village. “Our toy drive is an opportunity to help spread that joy and make a child’s wish come true.”
