Three farmers markets each week in Milford

Three farmers markets take place in Milford each week, offering residents a place to get fresh produce, baked goods, and more.
The Village of Devon hosts a farmers market on Sundays at the municipal lot at 120 Bridgeport Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, flowers and baked goods. WIC and DSNAP vouchers will be accepted.

The July 29 market will include special childrens’ events. In addition to farm fresh fruits, veggies, eggs, icy cold clams, Brazillian empandas, all natural soaps/lotions and fresh baked goods, Kishia's crafts will be on hand selling her non toxic all natural dough. She also will have a table set up so children can experiment.
There will be a martial arts demonstration from noon to 12:30 p.m., live entertainment by Kaleidoscopic, and The Boys and Girls Club of Milford will have an information booth.
The Downtown Milford Farmers Market runs every Saturday through October, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Agro parking lot. All the vendors are self-producing Connecticut farmers.
The Woodmont Farmers’ Market at the Robert Treat Farm is held Wednesdays. Located at the corner of New Haven and Merwin avenues, the Woodmont Farmers’ Market will be open every Wednesday, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., through the end of September, rain or shine.
