The Fund for Women and Girls: Providing the tools for success

Watch The Drive with Denise DiGrigoli live Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m. or watch this week’s show, below:

This week, Denise is joined by two special guests. Suzanne B. Peters, vice president of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation's Fund for Women and Girls, shares the work they are doing to create a vital and inclusive community. The show takes a closer look at real-life stories of the impact the organization has made, including in the life of student Aniyah Haynes. Aniyah joins Denise and Suzanne to discuss how the Family Economic Security Program (FESP) has helped her achieve her dreams. FESP provides low- and moderate-income women who support their families with scholarships, success funds, financial coaching, achievement coaching and peer-to-peer mentoring to help them stay in school and graduate.
Aniya is pursuing a mass communications degree and hopes to later pursue her Masters degree.
Earlier in the show, Denise offers her ‘Mindful Minute’ of tips.
