A 17-year-old Milford resident was arrested June 20 following a fight between a group of youths in the Walnut Beach parking lot.
Police said they received a complaint regarding a disturbance in the parking lot at about 11 p.m. Friday night. They said the 17-year-old is accused of hitting another person in the head with a baseball bat. The victim suffered an injury to his eye and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police have not released the name of the 17-year-old, who is charged with second degree assault. The juvenile was given a summons to appear in court and was released to his parents’ custody.
