Students get babysitter training in preparation for jobs

WOODBRIDGE >> Woodbridge Youth Services recently held Red Cross babysitter training in the Woodbridge Library, where students learned basic child care and how to respond to emergencies.

Many of the students will be joining the Woodbridge Job Bank and will be available for babysitting.

The Job Bank offers jobs opportunities to teen residents who would like to work for other Woodbridge residents who need help around the house.

he application process offers a chance to learn about interviews, safety on the job, and how to negotiate pay. Jobs may include yardwork, babysitting, animal care, housework and tutoring.
