Seven Boston Marathon runners with Milford ties are safe

Milford residents known to have run in the Boston Marathon Monday are reported to be safe.

Six members of the Milford Roadrunners reportedly ran in the marathon, and according to Bill Bevan, a club member, they have all been accounted for.

A woman who grew up in Milford, Kate Grevelding, is also safe. A Cheshire resident and 1994 Foran High School graduate, Dr. Kate Grevelding was running to support her graduate school, MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston.

The school website states that three women running for the school are all safe.

“We have been able to confirm that all three marathoners running in support of the Institute... are fine. All of their families are fine as well,” the website states.
