Scott Housing Authority seeking opinions on long-term plans, improvements

WINCHESTER — Scott County Housing Authority is asking residents to provide their opinions on proposed improvements to the properties and a new five-year plan. 

The board will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 in the board room of the Scott County Housing Authority Central Office, 143 S. Walnut St. The board will discuss its annual plan, as well as its five-year plan and annual statement budget.  

The board is also asking residents 18 and over to submit comments on proposed improvements, including accessibility modifications, parking lot and sidewalk repairs, landscaping and other interior and exterior projects.

Comments can be submitted to Amy George, executive director of Scott County Housing Authority, at 217-742-3174 by Aug. 30.
