Thirty teams have signed up to play in the second Annual Dodgeball Tournament next month to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Milford.
That leaves only 10 team spots available, club officials said. New teams must register by Friday, Feb. 28.
The tournament will begin at 1 p.m. on March 8, at Jonathan Law High School. It will be a 40-team double-elimination tournament. Championship belts will be awarded to the top team.
“The Boys & Girls Club is thankful for all of the community support for this great event,” said Megan Altomare, executive director, Boys & Girls Club of Milford. ”Teams continue to sign on — it will be a great event for Boys & Girls Club members, supporters, friends and families alike. It will be a day full of friendly competition and fun for all.”
Doors open at 11 a.m. for team check-in with tournament play beginning at 1 p.m. Friends, supporters and the general public are welcome. Admission for spectators is $5 per person, kids under 16 are free. Raffles and food will be available for purchase throughout the day.
Teams can range in size from 6 to 10 players, each team member must be 16 years old or older. Team entry fee is $300 per team: To register visit milforddodgeball.com or contact Megan Altomare at meganaltomare@gmail.com or 203-713-8055.
