Return of osprey celebrated at Milford Audubon

The Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center will host its annual Return of the Osprey Party on

Saturday, April 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Coastal Center, 1 Milford Point Road, Milford.

The event will include hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, live music, raffle and silent auction. Silent auction items will include original artwork by some of New England’s best wildlife artists and photographers, gift certificates to restaurants and museums, canoe and kayak tours, and more.

Proceeds will benefit the environmental education programs at the Coastal Center.

Support will be more meaningful this year as staff continues to repair from a burst water pipe in February, center officials said.

Tickets are $40 or $75 per couple.
