"Pretty good crowd," Milford resident Peter Smith said as he watched the Veterans Day Parade in Milford Sunday.
And it was indeed a sizable crowd that lined the parade route to watch veterans, community groups and local dignitaries march by.
Many people on the side lines yelled out "thank you" as veterans marched by. Likewise, people walking in the parade waved and yelled "thank you" to veterans who were watching the Milford parade.
Sunday's parade was one of a number of events in Milford this weekend lined up to salute people who have served their country. Fireworks and music Saturday were followed by a parachute exhibit, parade, concert and more on Sunday.
