The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is free and there will be a free shuttle service from Jonathan Law High School, beginning at noon.
Ratzenberger, known for his entertainment repertoire - Cliff Clavin from Cheers and has been the voice for various Pixar movie characters (Hamm-Toy Story, Mack-Cars, P.T. Flea-A Bugs Life, Gordon the Guard-Brave) - will be on hand to turn on the lights at the pier at Walnut Beach at 7:30 p.m.
In addition, Ratzenberger has provided movie memorabilia that attendees can bid on throughout the day.
“This event is a great way to kick off the fall in Connecticut and the club is honored that John Ratzenberger will be lighting up the Pier,” said Jorge Santiago, President of the Board of Directors for the club. “The excitement is revving up for the event; the members, staff, and Board of Directors are excited to host local residents for a day of fun-filled activities.”
