The Amity Teen Center has an array of events for everyone to participate in within the upcoming weeks.

First, the 12th Annual Toad's Benefit, featuring seven of Amity's own bands, is scheduled to take place on Monday, Feb. 19, 6 p.m. to midnight. Kickoff your February vacation with this awesome event and come support your fellow musicians of Amity.

Tickets are on sale for $12 in advance or $15 at the door. This is one event you will not want to miss!

Once again, we would like to remind you to join us for our Bands Night on Friday, Jan. 26, 7 to 10:30 p.m. Surely, it is a great way to start off your weekend with enjoyable live music and more.

If you are still interested in showcasing your fashion designs in Project Amity this May, there is still time. Contact Pam Hirth at 799-3808 or at hirthstudios@mindspring.com for more details.

In addition, we are looking for area high school students, 5'7” and taller, to be models in a Prom Fashion Show, which is scheduled to take place on March 9, 7:30 to 9 p.m.

This community wide event will be sponsored by Rosebud Bridal and there will be both gowns and tuxedos to be modeled. To review Rosebud's Web site, check out www.rosebudct.com.

At least one model from each school will be selected to have a glamour shot done prior to the event to be used as an advertisement.

There will also be giveaways, discounts and coupon offers from area vendors. On the day of the fashion show, there will be free makeup applications for all models. We anticipate that this event will be a wonderful way for teens and families in the area to have a night out and perhaps, even find a gown or tuxedo for the prom! If you are interested contact Mechelle or Annemarie via email at theamityteencenter@gmail.com or by phone at 203-298-9735 or 203-239-1010.

Last but not least, if you are interested in learning proper etiquette for a business meeting, college interview, or job interview, you are in luck.

The ATC's Modern Social Graces class will begin soon. Contact AnneMarie at 239-1010 for more information.

Don't forget to visit our Web site at www.amityteencenter.org to keep posted on upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you soon!
