The Milford Police Department is investigating a residential burglary to a home on Myers Lane that occurred on May 2 between midnight and 6 a.m.
The perpetrator(s) entered the home through an unlocked rear bathroom window, police said. Two laptops, cash and a cell phone were taken from a ground floor office.
Two adults and three children were sleeping in the upper level of the home at the time. The perpetrator(s) then exited through a rear ground floor doorway.
A similar night time burglary to an outside “three season” porch that was converted to an office space was reported on April 23 at a home on Campfield Circle during the same time frame. A laptop, cell phone and cash were taken while the residents were sleeping.
Campfield Circle is in the same area as Myers Lane.
