Police looking for missing 16-year-old Milford girl

The Milford Police Department is looking for a missing person, Brittany Plona, 16, who was reported missing July 14. She was last seen at her home at 973 Naugatuck Avenue on July 11.

Brittany is described as a white female, 5’ 8” tall weighing 145 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Police said Brittany may have dyed her hair a different color to avoid being located.

In the picture police distributed, Brittany is wearing a Jonathan Law High School cheerleading uniform.

“Brittany last contacted her father on Monday, July 14, indicating that she was going to West Haven,” police said in a prepared release. “She asked him why the police were looking for her.”
