Police arrest third man in October home invasion in Milford

Police have arrested a third man in connection with a home invasion at a Kenmore Lane residence Oct. 26.

On Nov. 5, police arrested Thomas Hart, 23, of 26 Kenmore Lane. He is being held on a $250,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned at Milford Superior Court today, Nov. 6.

Police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating one remaining suspect in the investigation, Joseph Fox, 26, of 40 Pearson Avenue. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Milford Police Department at 203- 878-6551.

Police previously took custody of Zachary Labbe, 23, of Milford and Michael Fox, 21, of Milford on Oct. 31 and charged them with home invasion, first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit home invasion, conspiracy to commit assault, third-degree conspiracy to commit strangulation and conspiracy to interfere with an emergency call.

Police say that their investigation revealed that a male and female victim were inside a residence at 26 Kenmore Lane when several men they knew entered the home and assaulted them.

The male victim suffered several fractured bones and was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. The female victim was assaulted and strangled but did not require medical attention.

During the investigation, police identified the four suspects and obtained warrants for their arrests.
