Police arrest suspect in stabbing at gentlemen's club in Milford last week

Police have made an arrest in a stabbing last week at Keepers Gentlemen’s Club on Woodmont Road.

Police said they were called to the club April 12 at about 12:30 a.m. on a report of an assault involving a knife outside the business.

An investigation revealed that there was a disturbance inside Keepers Gentleman’s Club involving Samuel Saez, 24, of Naugatuck and another male patron, resulting in both men being escorted from the club.

While outside the business, Saez allegedly assaulted the other man with a knife and fled the scene. The victim suffered injuries to his chest, was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. The victim has since been released from the hospital.

Investigators continued with the investigation, which led to an arrest warrant being issued for Saez. On April 16, Saez surrendered himself to investigators. He  was charged with first degree assault.

Saez was held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Milford Superior Court April 17, police said.
