An accident summary provided by state police on Thursday indicated a 47-year-old Hartford man was driving in the right lane of I-95 southbound near Exit 39B in Milford when he was rearended by a 24-year-old Ansonia woman who used the right shoulder to try to pass another vehicle in front of her.

The report indicated that the Ansonia woman sideswiped the vehicle before hitting the back of the Hartford man’s truck around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
