Police: Shirtless woman asked to leave restaurant, breaks fixtures
MILFORD — An Ansonia woman was arrested on disorderly conduct charges after police say she was walking around shirtless and then broke two lighting fixtures at a restaurant when asked to leave.
Marjorie King, 24, also faces a criminal mischief charge. Police said they received a call from SBC Restaurant and Beer Bar in Milford around 1 a.m. Sunday of a patron damaging property.
When they arrived, restaurant staff told them that a woman later identified as King had taken off her shirt leaving only a bra and refused to put her shirt back on. She was asked to leave and refused, and then then broke two lighting fixtures, officers said.
She was released on a promise to appear in court on July 17.
Neither King nor the restaurant returned a request for comment Monday afternoon.
