NJ man accused of threatening to shoot children in Milford

MILFORD — Police said a man who was allegedly yelling threats, including statements that he was going to shoot children, was arrested on Monday.

Andrew Taylor, 41, whose last known address was in Princeton, N.J., was charged with two counts of breach of peace around 12:30 p.m. He was released on a promise to appear in court Nov. 5.

Police were alerted to a suspicious man in the area of High Street and Jepson Drive, who was allegedly making comments at passers-by, yelling profanity and saying he was going to shoot children in the area, according to Milford police.

The corner is not far from Lauralton Hall. Milford Police said schools were alerted to the incident.

Taylor did not have any weapons, police said.
