Police: 3rd arrest made in Milford motel robbery
MILFORD >> Police made a third arrest Friday in connection with a motel kidnapping and robbery.
Edgardo Patron, 39, of Ellis Street, Milford, was charged with home invasion, first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping with a firearm, criminal use of a firearm and first-degree larceny, police said.
On April 12, a victim reported being attacked within a hotel room at Motel 6 by four people, one of whom was armed with a handgun, police said.
The victim was restrained with zip ties and taped with duct tape over the mouth. Clothing and a substantial amount of cash were taken, police said.
Officers arrested Jacqueline Steck, 18, of Ellis Street, Milford, April 25 and Abimnel Mangual, 37, of Bronson Street, Waterbury, May 4. Both parties were charged with the same crimes as Patron.
He was held on a $250,000 bail and issued a court date of June 2.
