Platt evacuated second day in a row due to threat

Platt Technical High School in Milford was reportedly evacuated for the second day in a row Friday due to a threat.

Again it was an unspecified threat to the school, said Kelly Grant, State Police public information officer.

The “all clear" was given about 11:15 a.m. Friday, Grant added.

The school was evacuated Thursday at about 9:30 a.m. because of a bomb threat. Students were sent home Thursday as state troopers conducted a sweep of the school. Grant said no threat was found within the school.
