The Planning and Zoning board conducted a 50-minute long meeting in executive session at its Oct. 6 meeting to discuss a court-ordered settlement overturning the board’s denial of an 8-30g affordable housing application at 86 Pond Point Avenue.

The ruling regarding the plan for 23 condominiums on 2.7 acres was issued on June 29, 2015.

The board met with city attorney Jonathan Berchem to discuss the judge’s ruling. The board had a 30-minute executive session on Aug. 18 and this is the first discussion on the settlement since that meeting.

Since the board did not vote following the executive session, the matter will continue to another meeting.
