On demand: Wilton at Staples baseball

Last year, Wilton and Staples were the final two FCIAC baseball teams in the league's postseason tournament. This year they are battling to get into the playoffs. You can watch the Warriors and Wreckers in a 2015 FCIAC Championship rematch live (or later on-demand) in the video player below.

The Wednesday, May 11, game's first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Staples High School. Some technical problems delayed the start of the broadcast, which picks up action with no outs in the bottom of the second inning.

Coming into the game, Staples is tied with Danbury for the final two spots in the eight-team FCIAC playoffs, which start on Friday, May 20. Wilton finds itself in ninth place, a half-game back of the Wreckers and Hatters. So a win on Wednesday would put Wilton in the Top 8 with another week left in the season.

2. Drew Connolly, CF
3. Collin Kahal, 2B
4. Dillon Lifieri, SS
5. Henry Hovland, 1B
