The Cadets, 8-0 in the FCIAC and 10-1 overall, lead the FCIAC East Division by 2.5 games while Ridgefield in third place in the West. The Tigers (8-4, 5-3) are tied for sixth place overall in the league. The top eight teams make the FCIAC postseason tournament; there are two weeks left in the regular season.

This game is the HAN Network’s second softball game broadcast of the 2016 spring season — and first game this week in rainy Fairfield County. You can watch past games (which include baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse, and volleyball) on-demand for free at this link.

Because of the postponements this week, HAN has added Westhill at Ridgefield baseball to the schedule for Friday, May 6, at 4.
