On demand: FCIAC girls ice hockey semifinal, Game 1

The Ridgefield Tigers traveled to the Darien Ice Rink with a tall task in front of them: New Canaan and the FCIAC girls ice hockey semifinals. You can watch the entire game for free in streaming HD on demand below.

This was the first of a dozen live FCIAC winter playoff games in boys and girls ice hockey and basketball to be carried exclusively on the HAN Network in February and March.

New Canaan finished the regular season with records of 18-2 overall and 12-2 in the FCIAC. The Rams’ only two losses have come against rival Darien — the top see in the four-team tournament. Ridgefield (10-9-1 overall, 9-5 FCIAC) earned the No. 3 seed and Stamford-Westhill-Staples fills out the bracket.
