National Guard thanks company for helping people to serve their country
Frank Servas, a principal of Milford based IT consulting firm Axiom Network Designs, was recently recognized for his support of United States National Guard and Reservists by the Connecticut Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
Servas was awarded the Patriot Award for his efforts made in practicing leadership and personnel policies that support service members on his staff in their participation in the Guard and Reserve.
Systems Engineer and Reservist Justin Labrecque nominated Servas for the award as his supervisor.
“I am grateful for the recognition this award represents for the efforts Axiom has made on Justin’s behalf,” said Servas. “To be nominated is truly an honor. We always make an effort to provide an accommodative and flexible environment for all our employees. All the things you can do as an employer, no matter how small, can make a big difference in supporting your staff and their families. This is especially true for individuals that have made a commitment to serve our country and the least we can do is support them in the workplace.”
Axiom Network Designs and its employees are proud supporters of the nation’s armed services and will continue to seek to employ members of the National Guard, Reserve, Armed Services and Veterans, Axiom officials said.
“To that end, Axiom has signed a voluntary pledge with ESGR stating its support for the Guard and Reserve and affirming its commitment to our country’s Service members,” the company said in a press release.
