A cold front moving through the region will bring chillier temperatures and possible freezing conditions on Easter Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service said a freeze watch has been issued for the region and remains in effect from late Sunday night through Monday morning.
Temperatures as low as 30 degrees are possible, while wind gusts could reach up to 25 or 30 miles per hour.
The weather service warned that frost and other freeze conditions can kill crops or sensitive vegetation. Lower temperatures could also affect unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Skies, however, should remain mostly clear and sunny on Sunday.
Monday will bring increasing clouds and a 100 percent chance of rain after 8 p.m. Rain will continue into Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
