Motorcyclist seriously injured in Labor Day accident
The Milford Police Department is investigating a serious motor vehicle accident that occurred on Labor Day, Sept. 5, at approximately 11:50 a.m. in the area of Woodruff Road and Burnt Plains Road.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a motorcycle was traveling northbound on Woodruff Road near Burnt Plains Road. The operator, Alexander Mizzoni, 19, of Milford, lost control as he was approaching the intersection of Burnt Plains Road, causing the motorcycle to fall and throwing him off the motorcycle and into a vehicle that was stopped at a stop sign.
Mizzoni was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. Police said he is in critical but stable condition.
