Update: Brittany Plona, 16, who was reported missing to the Milford Police Department on July 14, was located during the overnight hours staying at a friend’s home in Milford. She was found in good health and unharmed and her parents were informed of her whereabouts.
The girl had last been seen at her home at 973 Naugatuck Avenue on July 11.
“Brittany last contacted her father on Monday, July 14, indicating that she was going to West Haven,” police said in a prepared release when they announced her disappearance. “She asked him why the police were looking for her.”
