City workers have been stringing holiday lights on downtown trees in preparation for the holiday season.
The city’s Festival of Lights & Tree Lighting ceremony will take place Friday, Nov. 28. Festivities will start at 5:30 p.m. and the tree lighting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on the downtown green.
There will be holiday music, horse and carriage rides, free hot chocolate, and a jolly elf arriving by fire truck.
The event is sponsored by the Milford Chamber of Commerce, and it is free.
