Police are looking for a man they said robbed Walmart early Thursday morning.

According to a police report, at about 7:40 a.m. a man entered Walmart, located at 1365 Boston Post Rd., went to the service desk and implied that he had a handgun in his waistband and demanded money from the clerk, who complied.

Police say the suspect is a black man, who was wearing all black clothing, a backwards black baseball hat and headphones.

The man was seen fleeing the store through the front door and running west across the parking lot, police said.

The suspect may have gotten into a light colored four-door vehicle waiting in the area.

At no point was Walmart placed in a lockdown during the incident. The scene of the crime was sectioned off to keep people out, police said.
