Milford police: Man, 66, seriously hurt in collision

MILFORD — Police say a man was seriously hurt in a collision at a city intersection Tuesday afternoon.

First responders rushed to the area of Orange Avenue and Pullman Drive shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday after a report of a serious motor vehicle accident.

The crash involved a 2017 Subaru, driven by a 76-year-old woman, and a 1976 Chevrolet van, driven by a 66-year-old man.

Police said the man suffered potentially serious injuries and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The Traffic Unit continues to investigate.
