Police have arrested a Milford man on charges that he sexually assaulted a 13- and 14-year-old.
Jamie Vega, 64, of Walnut Street was arrested on a warrant July 15 and charged with sexual assault in the first degree, sexual assault in the fourth degree and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
On April 2, Milford police received a complaint about a possible sexual assault involving a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl. Police said Vega knew the children and their parents and took care of the children between 2009 and 2012.
Bond was set at $90,000, and Vega is scheduled to appear in court on the charges Aug. 12.
