NEW HAVEN >> Longtime professional acting duo Allan Zeller and Kimberly Squires of Milford, will perform their two-person show, “Zeller & Squires — Delightful Differences: An Evening of One-Act Plays,” at the Lyric Hall, 827 Whalley Ave.

Opening weekend is 8 p.m. Oct. 14, 15, followed by two weekends Nov. 4, 5, 11, 12.

The husband and wife team will take on a total of nine plays, 18 characters and multiple costume changes, all, in less than two hours.

There will be cabaret-style seating, with refreshments available for purchase.

The nine short plays include “Little Sins” by Susan Cinoman, which details a sexually charged encounter between married friends that goes awry when their children become the focus of their differences; “A Medical Breakthrough” by Fred Stroppel, which is about a man who looks for help at the proctologist office and finds out his doctor is a woman; and “Baroque Dating Service” by Rosemary Foley that finds two music lovers discovering that opposites do and don’t attract.

Cathy Szabo on vocals and P.J. Letersky on keyboard will entertain before the show.
