Milford Library Friends officers, volunteers recognized
MILFORD >> Members of the Friends of the Milford Library recently gathered for their annual meeting and reception to elect officers and to recognize volunteers.
More than 60 attended, including community partners who supported the Friends in the last year.
Officers unanimously elected for two-year terms, starting in March were: Anne Bolin, re-elected president; Amy Bringardner, re-elected vice president membership; and Cathy Goldbach, treasurer.
Library Director Christine Angeli and Children’s Librarian Suzanne Harrison-Thomas thanked the members for their continued support, including the gift of a new speaker’s podium.
The Friends has a new tagline: “Because a great city deserves a great library.”
