Nearly six million patients in America suffer from chronic or non-healing wounds, affecting their quality of life by causing a great deal of discomfort or pain.
On Tuesday, March 31, the staff from the Advanced Wound Care Center at Milford Hospital will present a program on “Wound Care Basics.”
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the hospital, 300 Seaside Avenue.
During the session, experts will talk about how certain conditions can affect the body’s ability to heal, and they will discuss how to identify wounds, care for them and what to look for and when to seek medical attention.
Registration is required and seating is limited. Call the Milford Hospital Community Education Department 203-876-4004 to reserve a seat.
