Mayor — Milford residents 45 and older now vaccine eligible

MILFORD - Those in the 45 and older age group can now receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Deepa Joseph, director of health for the city of Milford, gave the update through the “Minute With The Mayor - COVID-19 Vaccine Update” video on YouTube. Milford Mayor Ben Blake said that new prioritization of the vaccine continues as new protocols come down from the federal, state and local levels.

Joseph said that those in the new age group can schedule their appointment online through the vaccine administration management system called VAMS. Or they can also call the Connecticut COVID vaccine assistance phoneline number at 877-918-2224. The vaccine appointment assist line is available every day between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Other locations mentioned where people can access vaccines are Yale New Haven Health System, Hartford Health Care, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart and other health providers.
