A Stratford man was arrested July 9 for allegedly touching the genitals of an adult acquaintance.
Police said George Hines, 57, of Palisade Avenue, Stratford, was charged with sexual assault in the fourth degree. According to police, the incident took place at about 9:45 p.m. at a convenience store at 365 Old Gate Lane.
Hines was released on a promise to appear in court Aug. 5.
