UPDATE: MTA officials have released the identity of the 26-year old Milford man who was struck and killed by a train early Tuesday morning. The man was identified as Steven Spray.

Officials did not release the name of the man until family had been notified.

According to Meredith Daniels, MTA spokesman, Spray was struck just west of the Milford train station by a New Haven line train that had left Grand Central at 12:08 a.m. and was due in New Haven at 1:51 a.m. that day.
