Library program shares ways to save energy and money
The Milford Public Library, the Milford Energy Advisory Board, and the Environmental Concerns Coalition will hold a public event at the Milford Public Library on Saturday, March 23, from 2 to 4 p.m., offering ideas on how to implement energy efficient projects and how to install renewable energy options in the home or business.
The Energy Advisory Board has arranged for a number of Connecticut experts to discuss the many programs and options that are available to Milford residents and business owners. They will describe the benefits of these programs as well as how to begin to save money.
In addition to experts on energy efficiency and renewable energy, the program will bring financial experts who can describe low cost and no cost ways to pay for these programs. There will also be local examples of homeowners and businesses that have already achieved savings using the methods that will be described.
