Preschool story time — Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Stories and a craft. For ages 3 and up with a caregiver.
Stay and play Thursday — Thursday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon. Stop by the library and play board games, build with Legos, do a simple art activity or play floor puzzles.
StorySpace — Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. Mr. Ferris and His Wheel by Kathryn Gibbs Davis, the story of engineer George Ferris and his invention that wowed thrill-seekers back in 1893.Then try your hand at making your own carnival attraction. Register in the Children's Department.
PAWS to read — Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m. For children in grades K-5. Kids are invited to read out loud to some special library friends — the four-legged kind. Space is limited and registration is required. All therapy dogs and their handlers are certified through Reading Assistance Education Dogs (R.E.A.D).
