Knitters and quilters meet every Friday at 1 p.m. The group gathers to socialize and work on their projects.

CHILDREN’S

The children’s department at Milford Public Library, 57 New Haven Ave., is holding events the next few weeks. For information call: 203-783-3304.

Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 a.m. is preschool storytime. Come to the library and enjoy stories, a craft and new friends. For ages 3 and up with a caregiver. Monday’s program is provided by the Junior Woman’s Club of Milford and The Literacy Center of Milford. Tuesday’s program is provided by the Milford Public Library.

Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. is toddler time. For ages 2 and under with a caregiver.

Music Together:  Wednesday, June 12, at 6 p.m. Family music with a free demonstration of the Music Together program.  This is an opportunity for caregivers and children ages 0-5 to share music, instruments and movement together.  Children of all abilities are welcome and space is limited. Family game night: Tuesday, June 25, from 6-7:30 p.m. Board games, puzzles and family time together --games include chess, Jenga, Battleship, Sorry, Chutes and Ladders and Trouble. Games appropriate for children ages 4 and up.

Free kids movie: Thursday, June 27, at 2 p.m. The story of a video-game villain who wants a chance to finally be the hero. Rated PG.
