House on Merwin Avenue falls during elevation process

This Merwin Avenue house was in the process of being elevated when it fell nine feet to the ground Monday evening, according to NBC Connecticut.

Various news sources report that one worker received minor injuries when the house fell.

According to city records, the three-family house is appraised at $108,000. It is 1,978 square feet and was built in 1930.
