HAN On Demand: Fairfield Rivalry Night: Warde vs. Ludlowe boys soccer

More than the town title is on the line as rivals Fairfield Warde and Fairfield Ludlowe meet at Taft Field live on the HAN Network on Tuesday, Oct. 18. You can watch the game live at 7 p.m. (or later on-demand) in the video player below. The game will also be broadcast later on Frontier Communications' Vantage Sports Network (Chs. 600/1600). Check your local listings.

While the home team Falcons are playing for seeing, the Mustangs are occupying the eighth and final playoff spot with just over a week until the playoffs start (on HAN Network!). No. 4 Ludlowe (9-4-0) is one point ahead of Staples and would host their quarterfinal match if the season ended today. Warde (7-4-2) would be the No. 8 seed and face No. 1 Danbury if the postseason started today.

The fall postseason coverage begins tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 19) on HAN with the Cross Country Championships. Boys soccer kicks off our team playoff coverage with one of four quarterfinals matches on Thursday, Oct. 27. You can see the rest of the fall schedule here.
