The only person of interest in the 34-year unsolved murder of a Darien Police officer was sentenced to more than 13 years in a prison for drug trafficking in Hartford Wednesday.

A 60-year-old Greenwich man, who went missing from a Mill Hill Road nursing home Nov.1, was found dead Tuesday morning in a wooded area next to the facility.

A memorial service will be held for Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin on Saturday, Dec. 12.

As Black Friday looms with the rest of the holiday shopping season, the Trumbull Police Department has begun to prepare for an increase in pedestrian traffic — as well as shoplifting — at one of the town’s primary business hubs.

Two men were arrested this week in Bridgeport for allegedly stealing a U-Haul truck.

The Redding Police Department announced this week it would no longer report the names and addresses of those accused of domestic violence crimes.

Ridgefield residents will have their chance to give their opinions on medical marijuana during a public hearing set for Tuesday, Dec. 1.
