A missing Darien woman and former Tokeneke physical education teacher was found dead in her car on  Saturday.

Just days after a fire displaced more than 100 people in Bridgeport, the CT Post reports that a three-year old toddler died early Sunday morning in a fire on Frenchtown Road.

A Fairfield Prep freshman was killed in a crash in Virginia on Dec. 29.

Two local colleges are in mourning after a crash over the holidays in Florida took the lives of two educators who were married to each other.

In Darien, The first day back to school after the holidays was not Monday for students of Ox Ridge School in due to a water main break, according to Schools Superintendent Dan Brenner.

Ridgefield police have the driver of a car in custody following a police chase and series of crashes along Main Street Sunday afternoon.
