Milford Police rescued a missing teen girl from a suspected human trafficker. Police charged a New Jersey man with promoting prostitution and other crimes when they found him at a local hotel with a missing 15-year-old girl.

Carol A. Sung, the New Canaan resident who was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs while picking up her child at Saxe Middle School, had her arraignment in Norwalk Court on Tuesday, Jan. 19, put off until Wednesday, Feb. 3.

Shelton’s welcomed its first Chipotle late last year, shortly before the reports of an E.coli outbreak first surfaced.

A Stratford mom was arrested Wednesday when she showed up at her daughter’s school with a handgun.

Police have arrested the person who may have hit a Connecticut College student before fleeing in December.

After more than 80 years in business, a landmark hardware store in Stratford will soon close its doors.
