Coffee Break pays a visit to Ridgefield's Prospector Theater,  The Prospector is the only theater of its kind in the country. It offers a luxury movie theater experience that employs and trains people with disabilities. Kate talks with Valerie Jensen, the founder of the theater about the mission and the experience.

A Milford man faces additional charges in connection to several cases of sexual assault on a juvenile when he was arrested Jan. 13.

Two Derby High School girls were approached by a man in car in two separate incidents on Tuesday, a parent told Derby police.

A Connecticut state senator has been hospitalized following a one-vehicle crash.

In Ridgefield, After a couple of delays, work is set to begin in earnest on the Danbury Road (Route 35) bridge project, signaling the return of alternating one-way traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at least through the spring. One-way traffic is expected to start on Monday, Jan. 18.

New Canaan joined the discussion about opioid abuse and addiction which has come to the forefront in Connecticut and across the nation. An estimated 250 members of the community gathered in the Meeting Room, inside Town Hall, Wednesday night to learn just how harmful Opioid addiction and abuse is for the human body.

Ridgefield officials appear to be back to square one in searching for a use for the Schlumberger property’s Philip Johnson building, which they’d been exploring as a possible site for a museum dedicated to the legacy of artist and writer Maurice Sendak, who died in 2012 and had a home in northern Ridgefield most of his adult life.
