Trumbull Police arrested three women July 26 after a motorist called to report spotting a stolen vehicle traveling from Bridgeport to Trumbull just after 5 p.m.

Hearst CT Media reports that rescuers concluded the search for a possible drowning victim at Sherwood Island State Park shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday with no one located.

Milford Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the ringing of a doorbell on Cedarhurst Lane in the early morning hours several times this month.

A Danbury man was charged with “viciously” assaulting a Danbury police officer Saturday night, according to police.

At 2:15 in the morning Saturday, Connecticut State Troopers in Bethany helped deliver a healthy baby boy, right outside their headquarters.

The owner of Little Bears Beginnings Daycare, the Stamford home day care facility where 2-month-old Bella Redondo of New Canaan was shortly before dying at Stamford Hospital July 12, has decided not to contest its license being suspended.

In Darien, a purse was stolen from a car at Cherry Lawn Park just before 7:30 p.m. on July 19, Darien Police said. A 38-year-old Stamford resident was visiting the park with her family and returned to her car about 20 minutes after arriving to find a window smashed.
